The US Agency for International Development (USAID) will suspend the hiring of non -essential workers.
As of Friday, your contracted personnel will be placed on administrative leave worldwide.
Only those with critical functions for the mission will remain active.
Essential employees will be notified on Thursday, while personnel abroad must return to the US

USAID will organize and pay the return trip within the next 30 days.The decision occurs in the midst of rumors about a possible closure of the agency under Trump’s mandate.
USAID, founded in 1963, has 10,000 employees and managed a budget of 50,000 million in 2023.

The staff in Washington received the order to stay at home and the offices were sealed.
Trump froze foreign aid except that destined for Israel, Egypt and emergency foods.
