A giant satirical trophy standing nearly 10 feet (3 meters) tall once again became the center of political attention after being installed Wednesday in Foley Square in Lower Manhattan.
The artwork directly targets President Donald Trump, mocking his role during the conflict with Iran by awarding him a symbolic «participation trophy,» a distinction intended to satirize his handling of the international crisis.

The inscription continues: «While others focused on military strategy, diplomacy, or measurable results, President Trump demonstrated the value of participating regardless of the final outcome.»

The organizers said the monument will remain on display throughout the week.
Each evening it will be removed and then reinstalled the following morning.
Secret Handshake explained that the goal is to keep the artistic intervention visible without leaving the structure permanently in the public space.
The collective also invited the public to participate in the project.
Its members hope New Yorkers will help expand the growing collection of awards dedicated to the president.
«No achievement is too far-fetched, too small, or too undeserved to be awarded to President Trump,» the collective said.
