U.S. President Donald Trump will undergo a new medical and dental checkup this Tuesday.
The examination will take place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington.
It will be the president’s third medical exam in the past 13 months of his second term.
The new medical evaluation comes as doubts increase among Americans about Trump’s physical and mental ability to continue leading the country.
The president, who will turn 80 on June 14, faces growing public questions about his health.
White House Maintains Support for Trump’s Health

According to the EFE news agency, the White House announced the president’s new medical visit earlier this month.
Trump had already undergone an annual physical health exam in April of last year.
He later returned in October for a follow-up review.
On that occasion, he underwent an MRI to rule out cardiovascular problems.
According to the White House in December, the results showed Trump was in “excellent health.”

“Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits, with no acute or chronic problems. In summary, this level of detailed evaluation is standard for a physical exam at the president’s age and confirms that he remains in excellent overall health,” spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said at the time.
Trump has publicly insisted that he remains in good physical and mental condition.
The president has also constantly boasted about his vitality during public events and political rallies.
Polls Show Growing Public Concern
Despite the White House’s claims, public perception of the president’s health has changed.
A poll by The Washington Post, ABC News, and Ipsos published earlier this month showed concern among Americans.
Fifty-nine percent of respondents said Trump does not have the mental sharpness needed to lead the country.
By contrast, 40% said he does have enough mental capacity to serve as president.
That figure represents a drop from the 47% recorded last September.
Doubts also extend to the president’s physical condition.
Fifty-five percent of U.S. adults surveyed said Trump does not have the physical fitness needed to hold office.
That percentage represents a 10-point increase compared with last year’s survey.
Trump Insists on Defending His Physical and Mental Capacity
The president repeated his claims about his excellent cognitive condition last Friday during a rally.
During the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump frequently used health as a political argument.
The president constantly compared his physical and mental condition with that of then-President Joe Biden.
Trump often refers to Biden as “Sleepy Joe.”
However, he now faces similar questions from the public and independent doctors.
Recent concerns have focused on visible bruises on the president’s hands.
Questions have also emerged about occasional episodes of drowsiness.
The doubts center on whether those signs could reflect a deeper health problem ahead of Trump’s new medical exam.
