Cryptocurrencies have become one of Donald Trump’s most profitable business ventures.

The president reported more than $1 billion in income tied to the cryptocurrency market, according to his latest financial disclosure released by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE).

The report also confirms that his real estate companies, private clubs, and other business ventures continue to generate millions of dollars, while his personal wealth keeps growing during his second term.

  • Why it matters: The disclosure once again draws attention to the relationship between the White House’s policies supporting the cryptocurrency industry and the substantial profits the president himself receives from that market.

The report comes as the Trump administration continues to promote the growth of the cryptocurrency sector.

Trump Cryptocurrency Earnings Top $1 Billion

The more than 900-page financial disclosure shows that Trump earned over $500 million through World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency company co-founded by members of his family.

In addition, he reported $635 million in royalties from Celebration Coins, a project connected to CIC Digital LLC, the company linked to his meme coins, according to Bloomberg.

Combined, those two ventures generated more than $1 billion, making cryptocurrency one of the president’s most significant sources of income.

Trump Properties and Brand Continue to Generate Millions

Cryptocurrency is not Trump’s only lucrative business.

The financial disclosure also reports substantial earnings from his real estate holdings, private clubs, and commercial licensing agreements.

Among the most profitable assets is Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, which generated more than $77 million during the reporting period.

The disclosure also includes revenue from Trump-branded merchandise, including sneakers, Bibles, and watches.

According to the official filing, the watch licensing agreement alone generated $4.7 million.

White House Defends Its Cryptocurrency Policies

The release of the financial disclosure has renewed criticism over a potential conflict of interest between the president’s business ventures and his administration’s policy decisions.

White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told FOX Business that the administration’s cryptocurrency policies are intended to promote innovation and strengthen the U.S. economy, not to benefit the president personally.

Meanwhile, Trump’s fortune continues to grow. According to Forbes, his net worth increased from $2.3 billion in 2024 to nearly $6 billion.

The financial disclosure does not identify any wrongdoing, but it does confirm that cryptocurrency now plays an increasingly significant role in the president’s business empire—a topic that is likely to remain at the center of public debate.
