According to El Heraldo de México, the incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Monday in Lexington, Texas.
Kaydence Carpenter, 20, drove her black Tesla into a group of people in a parking lot.
Initial reports indicate that at least four individuals were struck.
Before the incident, there had reportedly been a confrontation between the young woman and the group.

After the incident, Kaydence Carpenter was removed from her vehicle by three police officers.

She was seen running without one of her shoes at the time of her arrest.
