The relationship with ‘Chispita’
In one of the episodes of her podcast, En Boca Cerrada, Raquenel Portillo (Mary Boquitas) talked about the relationship between Sergio Andrade and Lucero.
She said she noticed that the music producer talked a lot with the young singer and that he implied there was a relationship between them.
However, it was Lucero León, the singer’s mother, who would have realized all this.
For this reason, she decided to end the working relationship abruptly since she did not consider this type of closeness appropriate.
Gloria Trevi: The contest winner
As mentioned earlier, at that time, a contest was held to find of Chispita’s (Lucero) look-alike. The winner was Gloria Trevi.
Mary Boquitas remembers being surprised that the music producer insisted on talking about the young singer.
«He used to say to me, ‘You won’t do to me what Lucerito did, right?’ I didn’t understand why he mentioned her more and more as if it were a competition.»
According to the composer, Lucero felt the same way about him, but her parents kept her away from him.
Lucero sends a message to Sergio Andrade
Recently, during her daughter’s debut in the play El Mago, Lucero was asked about this sensitive topic.
With her unique charm, she said that she would not answer that, and especially not on such a special day for her daughter.
However, she made a statement that could be considered an indirect message to Sergio Andrade, surprising those present.
«I hope (referring to her daughter Lucerito) she doesn’t encounter problems dealing with wolves and always knows how to come out unscathed.»
Yuri’s mother protected her from the music producer
Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco, known simply as Yuri, said that she was saved from falling into the clutches of Sergio Andrade thanks to her mother.
«No one ever abused me because my mom carried a gun, and that’s why they called her ‘Mamá Gallo’ (Mother Hen).»
The singer stated categorically that the music producer never touched her, let alone made any advances.
«That’s why I can’t comment,» she said regarding the Trevi-Andrade clan. «My mom was always with me,» the Veracruz native revealed.
Sergio Andrade and Yuri’s success
It is worth remembering that Sergio Andrade is the composer of one of Yuri’s biggest hits: ‘Tiempos Mejores’.
According to infobae, in an interview with Telemundo, the Veracruz native stated that the music producer never disrespected her.
She also shared that she has a lot of affection for Gloria Trevi but that she has never been able to talk to her about what she experienced with Andrade.
«I get along with Gloria, I love her a lot, and I haven’t been able to talk to her about that because it’s something from her past,» she concluded.
