The Leagues Cup 2025 will begin on Tuesday, July 29, and end on August 31, once again pitting the 18 Liga MX teams against the 18 MLS clubs. This will be the tournament’s fifth edition, aiming to break the historical tie of two titles per league.

What Does Artificial Intelligence Predict?

According to AI projections, at least four Mexican teams are expected to reach the quarterfinals. These clubs have the highest probabilities of advancing:

  • Toluca: 85%
  • América: 80%
  • Cruz Azul: 75%
  • Monterrey: 70%

Other teams like Tigres (60%), Pachuca (55%), and Chivas (50%) also have strong chances to move forward.

In contrast, clubs such as Puebla, Atlético de San Luis, and Querétaro have less than a 15% chance of advancing past the group stage.

Who Is the Favorite to Win the Title?

AI estimates place Inter Miami as the top favorite to win the Leagues Cup 2025 for the second consecutive time, with odds of +800.
For Liga MX, Toluca and Cruz Azul are the leading contenders, ranking ahead of América and Monterrey.
