Laura León, 71, decided not to get married the same day her fiancé gave her the engagement ring.
In an interview for the program De Primera Mano, the artist said that while drinking champagne, her fiancé suddenly appeared dressed as a woman.
Without revealing his name, she said she still has affection for her now ex-boyfriend, and she will not return the engagement ring.
«I’m not going to return it, I’m not getting married,» added ‘La Tesorito.’
The host of the program, Gustavo Adolfo Infante, recalled an unexpected revelation.
The journalist said that Laura León mentioned to him that her fiancé had issues with his drinking habits.
It was this reason, and not the fact that she saw him dressed as a woman, that made the singer decide not to get married.
