An Arrest Broadcast Live

Content creator Tatiana Martínez, known for warning immigrants about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, was violently detained while livestreaming on TikTok.

The incident occurred in Los Angeles, California, and resulted in her hospitalization, according to videos shared on social media.

Martínez, who has more than 30,000 followers, specialized in exposing abuses by immigration authorities and warning about operations in different communities.

During the livestream, she was driving a Tesla when ICE agents intercepted her. In the footage later shared, officers can be seen forcing her out of the car, dragging her before handcuffing her.

Recordings made by civilians show different angles of the arrest. In one of them, the influencer says she is willing to be detained, but when she refuses to leave the vehicle, two agents force her out.

The struggle left her on the ground, sparking outrage among witnesses and social media users.

At another moment during the operation, an ICE agent rushed to stop a tow truck from hooking up the car the officers had arrived in.

This was reported by La Opinión.

Her Health Condition Not Confirmed

Footage also showed paramedics wheeling a person into a hospital shortly afterward, suggesting it was Tatiana Martínez herself.

Users on digital platforms commented that the influencer may have fainted from the shock.

This forced her transfer to a medical center.

So far, her health condition has not been confirmed, nor the exact location where she remains in custody after receiving hospital care.

Fear Among Other Creators

The arrest of Tatiana Martínez has raised concern among other influencers who produce content on migration and deportation policies in the United States.

Some of them expressed fear of becoming targets for authorities due to their public criticism of immigration operations promoted by the federal administration.

This episode comes amid an intensification of raids, which the government has presented as part of the largest deportation campaign in the country’s history.

For many digital activists, the case of Martínez could become an alarming precedent about the risks of publicly exposing ICE operations.
