Originally from the Dominican Republic, Francisca Antonia Méndez Montero was born on May 5, 1989. She is about to turn 35 years old.
In 2015, she won the ninth season of the reality show Nuestra Belleza Latina.
After this triumph, she stood out more as a host, comedian and actress. She is one of the hosts of Despierta América.
Her marriage to Rocky Lachapel
Even though she divorced Rocky Lachapel in 2016, many people still call Francisca by her ex’s last name.
In 2010, when she was just 21 years old, the former beauty queen married this renowned interior designer.
What few know is that she decided to keep her ex’s last name for professional reasons.
At the beginning of 2018, she began dating Italian businessman Francesco Zampogna.
A new love story
At the end of 2018, Francisca announced her engagement to Francesco Zampogna.
It was not until two years later, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, that they revealed that they had married on December 31, 2019.
They had another church ceremony on May 6, 2022.
Now she goes by Francisca Méndez Zampogna.
Francisca becomes a mother for the first time
Francisca and Francesco Zampogna did not wait long to become parents.
On July 7, 2021 the television presenter gave birth to her first child, Gennaro Antonino Gamelier.
In February she became a mother for the second time to another son, Franco Raffaele.
According to People en Español, she will returns to Despierta América at the beginning of May.
