Is David Zepeda gay? David Zepeda has decided to address the speculation that has surrounded his private life for years.
The 52-year-old Mexican actor acknowledged that the fact that he has never married or had children has led some people to even question his sexuality.
“People always ask me the same thing, and then that leads to ‘why hasn’t he gotten married?’ And then, on social media, they even question my sexuality and things like that,” he said during an encounter with the press covered by Las Estrellas and Univision.
When asked about the speculation, the telenovela star responded directly and revealed whether he is attracted to women. “I’ll answer those kinds of questions. I love women, and I haven’t had children because that’s how I’ve chosen to live and that’s how things have worked out with my ex-girlfriends,” he said.

According to Zepeda, his decision not to become a father so far is not due to an inability to have children or a definitive stance against parenthood.
He explained that the circumstances of his romantic relationships simply have not led him to start a family with children.
“That part just hasn’t happened with my ex-girlfriends, but if children come along, I’ll be the happiest man,” the actor said. He also made it clear that he has a special affection for children and currently greatly enjoys his relationship with his nieces and nephews.
“I love children, I love kids, and in this case, I love my nieces and nephews. But if that’s what the question is getting at, I love women,” Zepeda reiterated, according to statements published by Las Estrellas and Univision on August 20, 2026.

Although he does not currently have children, Zepeda has not ruled out the possibility of experiencing fatherhood in the future.

The actor was also asked about his parents’ views and whether they have ever pressured him to give them grandchildren. Zepeda said his family fully respects his personal decisions and that their main concern is seeing him happy.
“My parents are happy when they see me happy. For them, that’s the greatest happiness. Whether there are children or not really doesn’t concern them,” he said.
He Maintains a Close Relationship With His Ex-Girlfriend
Contramuro added another detail about the actor’s personal life by recalling his comments about his former partner, Lina Radwan. Although their romantic relationship ended, Zepeda said they continue to share a very close bond rooted in affection.
“We’re still a family. We love each other deeply,” he said. He even revealed that he remains close to Lina’s mother, who cooks for him during the week: “I haven’t found anyone who cooks for me more beautifully, more deliciously, with so much love.”
