Divorce Lawsuit Reveals Ana Patricia Gámez’s Accusations Against Luis Carlos Martínez

The entertainment industry was shaken by the news of the divorce between TV host Ana Patricia Gámez and Luis Carlos Martínez, the father of her two children.
According to court documents obtained by journalist Mandy Fridmann, the presenter filed a divorce petition that includes serious allegations and asks the court for unequal distribution of assets as well as full control over her businesses.
In the legal filing, Gámez states that “the marriage is irretrievably broken” and claims that in recent years she has been the one sustaining the family’s emotional and financial stability.
She also requests exclusive possession of the marital home, arguing that cohabitation has become “hostile” and is no longer in the best interest of their minor children.

The filing also addresses custody and child support issues, asking that both parents be recognized as shared legal guardians.

Including retroactive, temporary, or permanent alimony, depending on the judge’s decision.
Suspicions of Financial Mismanagement
One of the most sensitive parts of the filing involves financial allegations.
Ana Patricia claims that her ex-husband controlled the finances of her businesses but that there are suspicions of hidden income, questionable transfers, and unauthorized withdrawals for his own benefit.
For this reason, the former beauty queen is asking the court to grant her full control of her companies and to bar Martínez from any future involvement in them.
She also requests to be exempt from any court order that might limit her ability to make business decisions.
The presenter argues that her professional and material contributions were instrumental in building the family’s wealth and that the court should consider an unequal division of assets if misuse of marital funds is proven.

The court filing also notes that Ana Patricia’s contract with Univision has ended, significantly reducing her income.
While the couple lived comfortably during their marriage, the lawsuit asserts that Luis Carlos Martínez still has the means to maintain his lifestyle, whereas Gámez now faces a more financially challenging situation.
Consequently, the TV host is asking the court for comprehensive financial support from her ex-husband and for the purchase of a life insurance policy in her favor to guarantee the payment of alimony for as long as the obligation lasts.
