In the video, which quickly accumulated thousands of views, Jaramillo is seen dramatically pulling Beta Mejía out of bed and taking him directly to a laptop.
Speaking sarcastically, she says they urgently need to send a formal invitation announcing her next trip to Ecuador, carefully providing the flight number, airport, and exact arrival date so that, according to her, reporters can be waiting for her when she lands.
The video also includes actual footage of an Ecuadorian television host criticizing Jaramillo during his program.
The TV personality stated on air that since Jaramillo moved to the United States to join ¡Siéntese Quien Pueda!, no Ecuadorian media outlet—not even the television network where she previously worked—has been able to interview her because she allegedly «arrives in secret,» and people only learn that she was in Ecuador after she has already returned to the United States.
The journalist also suggested that this pattern of avoiding the media began following the tragic death of her former partner, well-known television host Efraín Ruales.

Jaramillo’s response—and that of her family—came at the end of the comedy sketch. Her son Sebastián and Beta Mejía appear on screen delivering the blunt line: «Have a seat, sir.»
