It appears that Alessi lost control of her vehicle and violently collided with a pole, causing the car to overturn.

Nearby residents alerted authorities and emergency services after hearing the impact.

But unfortunately, Tania Alessi died at the scene due to the serious injuries she suffered in the accident.

In a statement released on social media, the Attorney General’s Office of the state of Hidalgo confirmed Tania Alessi Marín’s death.

Mexicana Universal Hidalgo offered their condolences to the bereaved family on Facebook: «We stand in solidarity with the family, friends of our colleague Tania Alessi Marín Cruz.»

«We hope that in these difficult times they find the peace and comfort necessary to overcome their loss. Rest in peace.» they continued.

According to Excelsior, Tania, originally from Pachuca, combined her law studies with her work as a ministerial agent.

She also modeled and participated in the Mexicana Universal pageant.
