New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced a special raffle for low-cost World Cup 2026 tickets.

The initiative comes after strong criticism over the tournament’s high ticket prices.

The program includes a raffle for 1,000 tickets for New York residents.

Each ticket will cost just $50.

Free Transportation to the Stadium Included

Winning fans will also receive free round-trip transportation to MetLife Stadium.

Several 2026 World Cup matches will be played there, including the grand final.

Only for New York Residents

The mayor confirmed that the raffle will be exclusive to people who live in New York.

Authorities will verify residency to prevent ticket resale.
