At least 21 individuals were arrested during immigration enforcement operations in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

The information was confirmed by the FBI’s Atlanta office in a post on the social platform X.

The arrests occurred as part of a joint operation between ICE, the FBI, and other federal agencies.

Immigration control operations remain active in the region, according to authorities.

FBI and HSI Strengthen Immigration Operations in Atlanta

During the arrests, agents also seized a handgun, although no further details were released.

“FBI Atlanta arrested 21 people today,” the agency stated in its official announcement.

They also confirmed that they will continue providing resources to support their federal partners in this effort.

Steven Schrank, special agent with HSI in Georgia and Alabama, recently spoke with Telemundo Atlanta.

He stated that immigration operations are taking place “seven days a week.”

These actions are part of a coordinated effort to strengthen immigration enforcement in the state.

Authorities have not disclosed the nationalities or immigration status of those arrested.

The immigrant community in Atlanta remains on high alert due to the increase in raids.
