Navarro will accompany the renowned actress Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines and legal analyst Sunny Hostin, on the talk show created in 1997 by journalist Barbara Walters. It’s a celebrity talk show featuring the latest news, beauty tips, fashion, diets and more.

According EFE, Ana Navarro will replace Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, as The View’s conservative voice. Although the Nicaraguan-born identifies as a Republican, she has expressed her opposition to Trump’s policies.

Navarro also railed against Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, among others who support the former president’s ideals, remembering his racist and xenophobic remarks and actions towards Latinos living in the United States.

Actress and producer Eva Longoria also celebrated the addition and said on Twitter that The View «is very lucky to have you.» Longoria was born in the United States, but her parents are Mexican and she also has Spanish ancestry.
