The contrast with the 2016 campaign is evident, when leaked emails from Hillary Clinton were published.

The documents received by Politico included information about Vance and Senator Marco Rubio.

The authenticity of the documents was confirmed by two independent sources.

The identity of the person who leaked the documents to the media is unknown.

Politico claims not to know who «Robert,» the alleged informant, is.

Trump’s campaign alleges that it was hacked by Iranians, but no evidence has been presented.

The FBI is investigating the incident, according to a brief statement. The media outlets involved have not provided details on why they chose not to publish the material.
