Tragedy in Las Vegas: 26-year-old woman fatally shot in the head

Marisela Rodríguez, 26, was found dead in a house near Sahara Avenue and Rancho Drive, in Las Vegas.
The Clark County Forensic Office confirmed that the cause of her death was a homicide from a gunshot wound to the head and neck.
The tragic finding occurred on Sunday, February 16, around 3:50 pm, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police report.
The body was found in the 2100 block of Naco Court, after the occupants of the house called 911.

Preliminary investigations reveal that a house party was held last night.
The inhabitants of the house went to sleep at dawn and not until after 3:00 pm on Sunday was the body found.
According to the testimony, the victim was unknown to those who lived in the house.
The area remained cordoned off by the authorities, so it is recommended to use alternate routes.
Marisela’s relatives claim the suspect of the homicide is her boyfriend, who did not act alone.

«There was no party there,» said Alejandro Rodríguez, the victim’s uncle, according to Telemundo Las Vegas.
The young woman’s mother Mariana Rodríguez expressed her pain for the loss of her daughter.
«It’s very painful, I don’t explain how someone can harm my daughter. My daughter was not bad, ”he said in tears.
Marisela Rodríguez leaves three children behind who will now face life without their mother.
The authorities have arrested Steven Flores about 85 miles south of Las Vegas.
