- Chest pain raises concern
Telemundo personality and Dominican content creator Chiky Bombom alarmed her followers after revealing that she had to rush to the hospital due to intense chest pain.
Through several videos shared on TikTok, the host explained that the discomfort forced her to seek immediate medical attention so doctors could rule out a potential heart issue.
Visibly shaken, Chiky Bombom told her audience that the situation caught her off guard and that she is not used to showing vulnerability online.
“Guys, I’m in the hospital,” she said, explaining that doctors needed to run tests to determine the source of the pain.
A frightening experience that caught Chiky Bombom by surprise
The creator explained that she is not someone who likes depending on others, which made her hospital visit emotionally difficult.
In one of her videos, she stated: “If I die, I don’t want tears; if I die, I don’t want crying,” a comment that deeply worried her fans.

She admitted that vulnerability is not part of the public image she usually shows, and the physical pain forced her to confront a level of fragility she does not enjoy experiencing.
Still, she tried to maintain her characteristic humor despite the difficult moment.
Persistent pain and ongoing monitoring
In a second video, Chiky Bombom said she “got really sick,” but received timely care as doctors evaluated her condition.
Half-joking, she questioned why the pain had to appear just before the holidays:
“Why couldn’t this body wait until the year was over?”
Despite everything, she insisted she kept her style intact, telling fans she remained “with the same glamour — because better dead than simple.”
The presenter added that she continued under regular medical monitoring to rule out any major complication.
Her son: Chiky Bombom’s biggest motivation to recover
During a livestream Thursday night, she spoke about the responsibility she feels to stay healthy for her family.
She revealed that even though she felt extremely weak, she still found strength to fix herself up before leaving the house — she didn’t want her loved ones to see her looking unwell.
“I was sick, really sick. I could barely talk. But I had the strength to put on makeup,” she said, explaining that her son was waiting for her, which motivated her to stay strong.
Chiky Bombom insisted she will do everything necessary to recover soon.
Anxiety, fear, and the reality of being human
The Dominican presenter also shared part of her conversation with a nurse, who warned her that she could not drive and recommended stronger medication for the pain.
She livestreamed the moment she underwent an electrocardiogram, a crucial test to rule out cardiac complications.
“We keep going — it seems they’re monitoring me every two hours,” she said, admitting that the constant sounds from the machines made her anxious.
She confessed that she often sees herself as “Wonder Woman,” but this experience reminded her that she is not exempt from medical emergencies, especially with the responsibility of raising her son.

No confirmed diagnosis yet
The influencer shared that at times the pain was so severe she could hardly speak.

For now, her audience remains alert as the Telemundo host continues under medical observation, according to El Diario NY.
