On November 4, 2025, tragedy struck the community when a family was hit by a car while walking to school.

Little Rose, just six years old, died instantly after being struck by a vehicle alongside her mother Catalina and her older brother Peter.

The accident occurred early in the morning as the three were heading to Faith Outreach Academy, the school where Rose was a student.

The message adds that Rose’s mother and brother remain hospitalized, and their recovery will be long and costly.

For this reason, the school and community have come together to raise funds and provide emotional and financial support as the family mourns and heals.
