According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a fire that broke out Saturday night in an apartment building in Logan Square left 22 people displaced, including 12 adults and 10 children, Chicago police reported.

The fire started shortly before 9 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Hamlin Avenue.

Firefighters and police officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of the blaze.

Authorities stated that the flames spread to a neighboring building before being extinguished.
