This Monday, a security camera video from the State of Mexico went viral, showing two children being taken by force by several adults — an incident that was initially believed to be a kidnapping.

What Does the Video Show?

In the footage, a boy and a girl arrive at a residence. The girl enters the building while the boy remains outside. Minutes later, four adults intervene: one picks up the girl, while another man grabs the boy — who appears visibly frightened — without resistance.

Neighbors reported that the children were taken away in a black car and that a total of five people were involved.

Where Did It Happen?

The events occurred at a business located on Ignacio Allende Street, in San Pedro, near the University of Ixtlahuaca, in the State of Mexico.

Not a Kidnapping, but a Custody Dispute

After the video spread across social media, authorities clarified that the case was not a kidnapping but rather a family conflict involving a custody dispute between two parties.

The children’s whereabouts remain unknown, and the investigation is still ongoing.
